I am making a daily documented video process for Instagram mainly. I saw on a youtube video tips that uploading videos gives you more audience. So far I am seeing the result at only few uploads regulary on IG and IGTV.
I’ve been doing some studies for my canvas paintings and what better way to do that by working on small paper studies. Love Me is the title of this painting as It expresses how we need to love the animals, represented by the teddy bear.
I am practicing gouache to prepare myself for bigger paintings. Here’s old man logan.
Last Tuesday Me and Jojit Solano went to Pinto Museum in Antipolo to help paint the Sunflower Mural. After the sun is out, we hang out with awesome artists. It was a fun day.
These are some of the Simpsonized Cartoons I did last August. I am now looking back at the cartoons I’ve done in the past and I am starting to realize that I have done more of the Simpsonized Cartoons than any other “stylized” cartoons. Of course the most that I have done is the dogital caricature/cartoon. I really enjoyed doing this cartoons. I admit that sometimes I am bored and pressured of the too many orders but It’s ok once I get over it. If you need to get one for yourself, I know you want it. Feel free to message me.

Visual art is a voiceless articulation of a heart subsumed with a raging passion. It is more than a piece hanged on the wall. It is an expression of heart, thoughts, and life experiences, combined to make an output. It may be voiceless, but it will never be hindered by the silence of its communication, aiming for a better nation through a deeper understanding of our society’s present conditions. The creativity drew on a simple canvas is by mystery inflicts pain and incurable bruise that genuinely reflects a unique understanding and perception about social reality.
BISKEG started from humble beginnings, equipped with cravings, desires, and stories. The expression of their thoughts is peculiar and free, but the impact it creates are of boundless zeal. As these young artists continuously struggle to revitalize the culture and art of their local community through their artistic representation of social advocacy, their sacrifices will never come to an end.
They follow the message of surrealist art where pure thoughts are expressed freely against all moral and social prejudices. Creativity and anguish compose the majority of their artworks that appear sinuous to many. The beauty of art they possess defies mainstream aesthetics. The statement is never clearly distinguished – it is harsh, disturbing, dark, and meant to conceal its depth – filling up futile thoughts. It is never just an eye pleasing thing, but reflects how real and imagination coincides.
They create their own little world in their minds, express their conscious thoughts and offer their selves to create meaningful contribution to human society. And therefore, to reflect the emotions stemming from the grievous life situation is their greatest reward. And just like a splint that pains, and cuts, and bleeds, BISKEG will surely leave a twinge that penetrates into the deepest sense of imagination.
Saluksok is a common term used when a very small piece of wood accidentally get inserted in the fingers causing irritating pain. This odd feeling is the basis of the group for the exhibit linking the common social issues as a “saluksok”. Common neglected issues yet creates great chaos when compounded.
SALUKSOK will be open on March 31, 6PM and will be on view until April 12 at ART GALILEIA, Second Floor Serendra Shops, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. For Inquiries Call 0915 809 7946 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org

Last Night I’ve met with my artist friends to give my artwork for the exhibit at Baguio City. At the same time I didn’t know right away that it is also the opening and reception of Jessie Montares’s 5th solo show. It was very inspiring to see that most the pieces are already sold even before the formal opening. I’d love to experience that too.
Later that night I’ve meet with my highschool friends to catch up and have a great dinner and drinks at Mercato BGC. I love the food there, it’s just a challenge to get a spot to eat as there’s so many people there.
I am going to visit the signing of Gerry Alanguilan and Leinil Yu today at the BGC Comic Odyssey! I just want to experience the vibe of the event. It always make me feel like a pro, like the enerygy of the event sinks in to me. I’ll take some pictures 🙂 for tomorrows blog.
