Been practicing procreate and digital coloring and painting. Good thing procreate have a built in screen capture. Baboy is my first short comics in Manila.
I did this Baboy Transformation art recently as I was asked to submit my original character art. I thought Baboy is possibly the reason why I am known in the local indie comics scene so I did an art of it. I used traditional media for line art and digital for colors. I like the result.
I’ve always admired the art for Cy Vendivil so when the chance came that I would be able to do an art trade with him, I took it. I am going to scan this and post soon.

Lingayen first appeared on Sikami: A Pangasinan Comics Anthology by Pangalatoons on 2013 at the Annual Komiks Convention: Komikon. It is loosely based on the folktale of the Town Lingayen
Baboy is the first independent komiks I did in Metro Manila. This is my winning entry at the Komikon’s Comics Creation Contest last Komikon 2008. The Comics won as Best Entry.
These are some of the Simpsonized Cartoons I did last August. I used Photoshop and Sai for these. If you ever need a similar commission feel free to message me.
Yesterday me and my friends went to the Signing event of Libreng Komiks and Buster by Toto Madayag and Peejay Catacutan at BGC, Comic Odyssey. We arrived there around 2pm and there were lots of people in line wanting to get their book signed. Congratulations guys! Truly inspiring.
Shortly after we went and shot a live video of the Indie Komiks Podcast. You can watch the video HERE The team is composed of Me, Ardie Aquino, Giosdesk Guiao and Giosepe Custodio. We talked about ourselves and about komiks in general. The fun part is that there were viewers of the video. I think the most number of viewers is 12. Which is more than what we expected.
It’s always been my dream to make a podcast, not a perfect one just want to start it. It’s done, it’s a start and I am a happy kid. I look forward to more podcast in the future.
