Toy Con 2016
A group of artist wast invited by Tony Tuazon to be featured on the Flipgeeks table in ToyCon 2016. I was there for 2 days, both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was the busiest day for us. There were a lot of artists present. I arrived late so I just decided to roam around the toycon. Took some pictures, talked to friends and enjoyed the event.
Day2, Sunday was the time when I was able to sell some prints and made some original arts. I even got a chance to do some caricatures. This is the first time that Toycon moved to SMX Convention center from Megatrade Halls and I think it was a very good decision. The AC was cold even when there’s too many people inside.
I am not really buying toys but I enjoy looking at them. Here are some of the pictures I took with my CP.
I would like to thank Tony Tuazon together with all the Flipgeeks team for inviting us artists to the event. Until next year, and More Power!
These are 2 of the caricature commissions I did last March. One is for Ma’am ingrade and the other is for Al Cindy. They are both my friends and clients. Ma’am commissioned me for a traditional style caricature for herself and her husband. I used digital means for the caricature for Alcindy. If you need a similar commission feel free to message me.
That image above the photo of my space at the Free Comic Book day 2016 at BGC high Street Comic Odyssey / Fullybooked. I sold some prints, comics and original art. I can’t believe how much I earned that day! It was more than I earned in Komikon.

These are some of the recent commissions I made last October. I use photoshop and Sai. Sometimes when I am getting too much for me to do, I hire the help of my friend Alvin Yanga and by brother Melchor for flats. They are now officially knowledgeable with the process and is now making the work faster than when I do it myself.
It’s the day after the Wedding and the day before the Mansamit group exhibit. Back to normal, back to everything. I am now working again. I now only have a few things to do. I officially now be able to do a legit vacation for the holidays and I am excited.

Our sink faucet is fixed! I was able to finish the 38 Simpson cartoons yesterday. I did not realized that it was that too many. That is the largest number I ever did for a single client order. It is awesome! I was not able to do a watercolor practice yesterday but I will catch up. I promise to do a daily exercise. The Harley Quinn drawing above is work in progress, I will color it via water colors.
These are a couple of couple wedding caricatures I did last July. I really enjoyed working on these as they are all full of love. Very inspiring.
#inktober and Short Blog
This is my Inktober Post for Day 22. I’m really liking the habit it is giving me to finish an art a day. I also noticing how my art is improving bit by bit. This one I used the Elephant china ink that you can buy at National Book store. It feels different to use compared to my first dip pen ink Dr. Ph Martin’s Black Star. Black star is way more black. But I also like how cheap the Elephant brand is.
I finally able to finish pencilling my comic pages for Sikami 3. I am going to start inking today. Still a lot of time till Komikon which is really nice.
