Mel was invited to attend the press conference of the Disney/Pixar animated feature Inside Out. The event was held at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel on August 7, 2015, with special guest Ronnie del Carmen, one of the most acclaimed Filipinos in the US, who co-directed the film. He was joined by Oscar-winning director Pete Docter.
